  • Chuck Lane

    HOST

    Chuck has a unique background of experience and leadership activities with a nearly two-decade career spanning, logistics, healthcare safety, security and emergency management (working for a $1.7B, 13,000+ employee healthcare organization across the Mid-South region), as a primary instructor for one of the United States government's premier training facilities, and now currently serves as the Vice-President of Learning and Development for one of the largest and fastest growing disaster restoration firms in the United States.

    Chuck grew up in Mississippi and graduated from Columbia Southern University with a MS in Organizational Leadership. He also holds a BA in Emergency Management from Waldorf University, and is an attendee of The Executive Education program at The Wharton School of Business. He and his wife are avid adventurers, spending their free time camping, kayaking, and hiking, often accompanied by their dogs or several of their nieces and nephews.

  • Cory Concus, PhD

    CO-HOST

    From maintenance to administration to consulting, Cory’s experience spans nearly 20 years. He has served across the State of Tennessee championing education initiatives as a State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE) Fellow in 2015, nominated into a regional leadership program, serving on the Tennessee textbook commission, and has previously been named district teacher of the year. Cory currently serves as the Assistant Principal for an elementary school where he helps grow future leaders at all levels.

    Cory was raised in Indiana and earned his PhD from Indiana State University in 2018. He holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies (2002) and a Master’s degree in Education (2008) with Instructional Leadership License (2015). While his school serves over 800 students in kindergarten thru 5th grade, Cory has six kids of his own ranging from 25 to 5 years old. He and his wife enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and activities with their kids.
